How to switch my phone on and off?

You can switch the phone on and off by pressing the power key and held it for a few seconds until the screen comes on. If it cannot be switched on, check the battery connection. Remove and reinstall the battery, then press the power key to turn on your phone again. If it still does not work, the battery may have no power and will need to be re-charged. 

  

How to charge the battery properly?

Connect the charger to a wall socket and then connect the charger to your phone. If the battery was completely discharged, it will take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display. Please make sure the battery is inserted into your phone before connecting the phone to the charger. Please use the correct type of battery and the right charger for your phone. When you are abroad, please check the electrical voltage is compatible with the charger.

 

The talk time and the standby time on my mobile phone have reduced. What is wrong?

With use, the life of a battery will be shortened. When the talk time is short even after battery charging, please replace the battery with a new one of the same type and capacity. If you are not sure where to buy a replacement battery, contact our friendly customer service support.

 

Why can’t I hear the phone ring?

Refer to your user guide for instructions on changing the ring volume and/or ring tone. You can adjust the volume to a suitable level that you can hear. Please check that your phone is not set to silent mode.

 

My mobile phone does not connect to a network. What is wrong?

You may not have access to your network at your current location. Try connecting your mobile in another location. If it still does not work, try to select the network manually by referring to your user guide. You may have to verify the network coverage with your network service provider and also check with it whether your SIM card is valid. Sometimes the network may be overloaded and you can try connecting it at a later time.

 

Why is there ”No SIM” on the display on my phone?
The SIM card may have been dislodged in your phone. Remove the SIM card and reinsert it to your phone. Make sure the gold contact of your SIM card is clean. If it still does not work, the SIM card may be damaged or scratched. Contact your network service provider for assistance.


My phone cannot make outgoing calls. What is wrong?

Make sure you have dialed a valid number and press the Send Key. For international calls, you may need to enter the correct country and area codes.  Double check that your phone is connected to a network and the network is not unavailable. Make sure you have not adjusted settings to bar certain outgoing calls.  If in doubt, contact your network service provider for assistance.

 

My phone cannot receive incoming calls. What is wrong?

Make sure your mobile phone is switched on and connected to a network. Check to make sure that the network is not unavailable. Double check that you have not set your phone to forward incoming calls, or to bar certain calls.  If in doubt, contact your network service provider for assistance.

 

Why can’t I use the features described in the manual?

Certain features of your phone require subscriptions from your service provider. Please check with your network service provider for assistance to see whether your subscription includes these services.

 

Why can’t I dial a number from my phone directory?
Make sure that you have correctly stored the number in your phonebook. You may have to include the correct country prefix when calling to a foreign country.

 

I cannot create a file in my directory. What is wrong?

Make sure that your directory is not full. Delete some files from the directory to create space for the new files.

 

Why can’t my callers leave messages to my voicemail?
Make sure you have subscribed to voicemail service. Contact your network operator to check service availability.

  

Why can’t I access my voicemail?

Make sure your operator’s voicemail number is correctly entered. Try again later if the network is busy.

 

Why can’t I send and receive messages?

Check your phone memory as it might be full, if necessary, delete some messages. Make sure that the network is not unavailable.  If in doubt, contact your network service provider for assistance.

 

The << - >> icon is displayed. What is it?

There are 2 possibilities. Either you are outside the network coverage area and cannot receive signal, or that you have already entered 3 incorrect PIN codes to your phone. If it is the latter case, you have to contact your network service provider to get the PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key) to unlock your phone.
